The first ever review of any of my writing. I'm simply ecstatic. Scroll to the bottom of the screen to read the review.

Short, shorter, and shortest

It's a point of discussion in some parts of the writing world. Will today's texting change the course of reading? Will people opt for shorter stories in preference to the standard-length novel?

Based on that model, one writer believes that movie scripts may become the next written art form.

Me? I'm leaning toward what I call, short shorts. And worse than that, I'm basing my bias on nothing more substantial than my self-published writing experience.

I have three tomes published on various ebook sites through Smashwords.com. And what is my experience there? By far, my most read work is my short story, The Baying Witness. It has an astounding number of readers for an unknown writer like me. People like to download it. It far out distances the number of downloads I've experienced for the sample chapters of my novels. However, it's not a clear cut issue, as The Baying Witness is also a free read. How much that influences the outcome, I do not know.

Anyway, you may read the review here by scrolling to the bottom of the screen.
